Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water (110°F)
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2/3 cup oats
- 2 tbsp malt
- 2 cups flour
Directions
- Combine water, yeast and sugar in a bowl and allow the mixture to rest in a warm place for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the salt, oil, oats and malt.
- Gradually stir the flour until the mixture can be kneaded.
- Knead the mixture for approximately 10 minutes or until a consistent dough is achieved.
- Allow mixture to rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour.
- Once mixture has risen make the dough into thin pizza shapes and allow them to rise for at least 1 hour.
- Add toppings and bake in 425°F oven for 9 or 10 minutes on parchment paper on a pizza screen (remove the parchment paper after about 5 minutes).
Notes
Adding oats is optional.
