Jerk Spice
Ingredients
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp zaatar
- 1/2 tsp peri-peri
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
Directions
- Combine all spices
- Dry-rub spice on meat (chicken with skin on), coat with oil, then bake
Notes
Spice mix has been adapted from Jo Cooks Jamaican Jerk Seasoning to use what was in the cupboard... Zaatar contains thyme.
