Cheese Puto

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Grease each mold with butter
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder
  3. Add the milk and egg and mix until smooth
  4. Add the water, butter and vanilla extract and mix until smooth
  5. Add the grated cheese and fold until well distributed
  6. Fill the molds with batter until 3/4 full
  7. Steam the Puto, putting the mold on top of a baking pan filled with water
  8. Steam until inserted toothpick comes out clean
  9. Add a strip of cheese on each Puto and steam until cheese melts
